When people me ask me about my hobbies, I always give them the same answer: cooking. Inevitably, they ask the same follow-up question: What do you like to cook? I always give them the same answer.

Everything, once.

The sheer variety of possibilities is dazzling: so many cuisines, so many ingredients, so many techniques… so little time. Still, why not try it all?

I’m a Ph.D. student studying Computer Architecture and living in a 1000 sq. ft. apartment. Cooking has, is and always will be my favorite hobby. Food is the intersection of science, creativity and tradition, and it brings joy whenever you share it. That’s why I’m committed to becoming an exceptional cuisinier… and making everything I make from the ground up. Here’s a few words to describe my style:

Adventurous – I live without any dietary restrictions, and I like just about everything that is prepared well. So I am unafraid to try making anything at least once. The world is full of incredible cuisine that I have yet to taste, and I won’t stop until I’ve tried it all.

Ambitious – Good cooking is easy. Exceptional cooking is challenging. I’m not one to shy away from a challenge. I have a name to make for myself, after all.
