I always have ice cream in my house, even when it’s sugar-free ice cream. When it comes down to it, this is basically a smoothie-turned-ice cream.
There’s another way to make this if you don’t have an ice cream maker. I took some of the liquid after pureeing the… smoothie… and froze it in an ice cube tray. Take some liquid and some frozen… smoothie… cubes and blend until it’s the consistency of ice cream. It’s a trick I’d like to experiment more with.
Also, I got a new camera (thank goodness)! I’m still getting used to it…
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 frozen banana
- seeds from 1 vanilla bean
- Blend all ingredients in a blender.
- Pour into an ice cream maker and churn until frozen.
- Freeze until solid.
